William C. Rieder
William C. (Bill) Rieder has been a member of this firm since 1977. Bill has over forty-five (45) years' experience in a wide variety of practice areas and a wide range of experience in civil litigation. His civil litigation includes representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury and property damage cases, premises liability, property dispute, employment law, insurance and probate litigation.
In addition to civil litigation, a significant amount of Bill's practice includes representation of county and municipal governmental entities, business entity formations and probate and estate administration.
During his forty-five (45) years as a practicing attorney, Bill has earned the respect of his peers in the legal profession. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible peer review rating in legal ability and ethical standards.

Matthew Z. Huffer
Matthew joined the firm in 2025. Matthew has a broad practice focused on labor and employment law, civil litigation, business and commercial matters, and estate planning. Prior to joining Hull, Ray, Rieder, Lane & Huffer, P.C., Matthew served as in-house counsel for a national construction-materials company, where he managed hundreds of active cases across the country. He also served as the company's labor counsel, advising on a wide range of employment-related matters. His prior experience also includes significant work providing insurance defense for several insurance carriers and businesses in Middle Tennessee.
A graduate of Tullahoma High School, Matthew is pleased to return home to continue his practice and serve the community.
